October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. About 266,120 new cases of breast cancer is diagnosed every year, and about 40,920 women will die from breast cancer in that same year. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. They provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivor-ship.
